2026 So Far: Everstage Product Updates That Make Every Comp Cycle Easier

The gist

  • Native Contracts: build one template, and every rep gets a ready-to-sign contract with their own numbers filled in.
  • Everstage MCP: ask the AI assistant you already use about live comp data, with your permissions intact.
  • Statement Versioning: keep the original statement on record when numbers change after a period closes.
  • Announcements: reach reps on the page where they check their pay, and see who's read your update.
  • Draws: set a draw policy once, and Everstage pays out, recovers and records every balance in a ledger.

2026 has flown by. With 2027 just around the corner, we looked back at what we've built this year, and every update started in the same place: with what you told us you needed.

Comp teams asked for fewer manual steps between a signed plan and a paid rep. They asked for a record of every change, a better way to reach their sales teams, and quicker answers to everyday questions about the numbers. This roundup covers the updates that do exactly that, and all of them are live in Everstage today. We've also included a quick look at what else shipped along the way.

Native Contracts

One template, a ready-to-sign contract for every rep

Whether you're onboarding a handful of reps or your entire sales team, you only need one contract template. Native Contracts turns it into a ready-to-sign agreement for every rep, with their quota and variable pay filled in straight from their comp data, so every contract matches the plan behind it.

Reps sign with EverSign right inside Everstage, and you track every signature and keep a full audit trail in the same place you manage pay. There's no separate e-signature tool to manage, and no numbers to copy from a spreadsheet.

Everstage MCP

Live comp data, inside the AI assistant you already use

Now you can get answers from your comp data without leaving the AI assistant you already use, whether that's Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini. Ask what commission spend looked like this quarter by team, who's pacing ahead of quota, or which deals need fixing before close, and the answer comes back from live Everstage data. You skip the export and the dashboard entirely.

You sign in with your existing Everstage login, including SSO, and the access controls you've already set carry over, so each person sees only what their role permits. The connection is read-only, and you can build your own AI workflows on top of your Everstage data.

Statement Versioning

Every change to a statement, dated and on record

Commission numbers don't always stay put after a pay period ends. A late deal or a quota correction can change the final amount on a statement you've already locked. Overwrite it, and the original calculation is gone, often right when a rep asks what changed.

Statement Versioning saves a dated snapshot every time you lock a statement, so a correction never erases the original. Compare any two versions to see which line items changed and by how much, and choose which version reps see. When a rep says they were underpaid in April, you can pull up exactly what their April statement showed.

Announcements

Share updates right where reps check their pay

Your sales team opens Everstage to see what they've earned, so that's where your updates belong. Post a banner on any page, or pin a tooltip right next to the number it affects on a commission statement. You build each one yourself, with no request to Support or Product.

Send each message only to the reps who need it, such as one sales team or the reps on a specific plan, and schedule when it starts and ends. Once it's live, track its reach, views and dismissals, so you know exactly where to follow up.

Draws

Set a draw policy once, and every balance tracks itself

If your team pays draws, you've probably managed them one rep at a time, with a spreadsheet outside your comp system holding the balances. Each period meant working out the draw amount by hand, entering it as a manual adjustment, then doing the same again for recovery.

Draws replaces that with a policy you set once. Everstage pays out and recovers each draw automatically every period, never recovering more than a rep's commissions for that period, and records every movement in a ledger with a running balance for each rep. Reps see their balance on their statement, and your existing reports keep working as before.

More updates from 2026

That's not all we shipped in 2026. We also made approvals more flexible, gave MBOs their own programs and added more control over quotas and statements. Finance teams get a rebuilt ASC 606 module with more capabilities, from flexible amortization rules to monthly reports they can lock for close. Reps can also use Everstage in more languages. HRIS data syncs automatically, and a full sandbox lets you test changes before they reach live payouts.

There's plenty more coming before the year ends, including something that will change the way you work on incentives. Stay tuned.
